Is it free to play?: Yes — it's 100% free. It's a friendly fantasy game for entertainment, not a betting product.
How do I score points?: Each pick settles at Starting Price. A win pays 10 × decimal odds; a placed horse pays one-quarter odds (10 × (((odds − 1) / 4) + 1)). How many places pay depends on the field size: win only for 1–4 runners, first 2 for 5–7, first 3 for 8–15, and first 4 for 16+. Finish outside the paid places and you score nothing. What's the wildcard?: Once per meeting you can nominate a single race as your Wildcard — your points for that selection are doubled. If your wildcard horse is a non-runner you're notified and pick again.
When do picks lock?: Every selection and wildcard locks exactly 15 minutes before that race starts.
What happens if my horse is a non-runner?: Your backup pick is used automatically. If both your main and backup are non-runners, that race scores 0.
How do private leagues work?: Anyone can create a private league and share its invite code. Your picks automatically compete across every league you join.
